My Pressure Washer Doesn't Cut It For A Foam Cannon...

Sonic, how about a picture two minutes after that though ;) with mine (similar stats) a few minutes after, more than half the soap is gone.

It doesn't look as good but honeydew adheres to the surface and has to be pw off, dodo wash didn't adhere like honey dew did but still performed decent

Mark,

I see where you are coming from. I do not let mine dwell for very much time at all just in case and I do not really know if it hurts the LSP or not but I usually top with Aquawax or XMT360 Spray Wax after every wash anyway.

I have actually dropped to 1.25oz per 9-12 oz water and it is not as thick but I think it gets the job done.

If you do have Optimum Shampoo, give it a try and mess around with dilution ratios and dwell times that you feel comfortable with. I know it is not a foam specific shampoo but it is a super crazy foamer. Just as good if not better than the DP extreme foam I have tried.

Good luck and happy Friday!

Happy Friday Drew!

I called CG and asked them what pressure washer they used in their videos. They told me the exact model. It's only $299. 2700 PSI and 2.4 GPM.

Mark, i'm not so sure that your going to be able to get results similar to that picture unless half the bottle if filled with shampoo. I have the Kranzle powerwasher and I use MR.Pink and my results look a little bit better to swan's black bmw above. Also, I find the MTM foam cannon to be lacking a little in the way it lays the foam down. it does not dispense an even spray. I'm thinking of trying the AG foam cannon, but dont want to spend the money and have the same result.

Are you not satisfied?

Those suds do cling enough to do what you should want in terms of dwell time.

I have the Kranzle with a Cam Spray bottle and can get decide clingly suds at 10:1 ratios.

My Husky pressure washer bit the bullet so I figured it was time to expand my hobby to foaming. So for I purchased a foam cannon setup and also got a 6-7yro used Karcher 3.68M, 1800 PSI 1.5 GPM off Craigslist for $50.

I tried it last night with Pinnacle XMT Gel Shampoo.... maybe 3 oz. and the rest mixed with warm water. The neighbor across the street came out within the first couple of minutes and expressed some friendly envy; to which I replied he can borrow the setup at any time. I went through maybe 75% of the solution. All I can say is that what happened fell within expectations. :-)

A basic setup like this would do.

Mark...

I meant to ask earlier:

Has any of your local EPA-gendarme/gestapo ever said anything about effluent run-off?

Just curious.

:)
