I bought it about a month ago, and was really digging it the first time I used it. The next time I went to wash my car, I noticed the glue was letting go around the edges. Well last week, the entire thing came apart:confused: I still used it, but its a little disappointing that it fell apart, as I've read about people using them for 100 washes and still going strong.

And last week

Maybe the newer schmitt will be better.......

Hopefully you called Edge for a replacement. They have great customer service.

Man you are everywhere! Actually that did not even cross my mind. I'll do that in the morning. Yet again, thanks!

One of my ShMitt's is almost dead but I got a lot more then 2 washes out of it.

Don't waste your time contacting edge... I did for my schmitt's and all they basically said was "it's foam, what do you expect?" I expect it to last more than a month and a half of washes!!

Yeah, I did the same thing. My Schmitt came apart like that after being used for maybe 3-4months, Edge just said "just get a new one".

Ehh, I will probably be getting the LC ulti-mitt on my next order.

Mydnyghte we will be more than happy to take care of you like Jason said.
Just contact us, or you can call me directly at ext 207, and that goes for everyone. If you have a problem all you need to do is call.

One of my ShMitts is also coming unglued. I like the product but they should come up with a better glue that will hold. If the product continues to come unglued people are going to quit buying them. I know the Edge people occasionally are on the forum and I thought they stood behind the products but maybe not. At least AG has great customer service and stand behind the products they carry.

Just to clear up a couple of things we prefer that the customer goes through us not the manufacturer. You order from us and we take care of you, we order from Edge and they take care of us. We have asked Aaron and other companies to send the customer to us, it is our responsibility to take care of our customers. If we have problems with an item we then in turn contact the manufacturer, AFTER taking care of the customer. :grouphug:
Its the geek way! ;)

My all white shmitt is also starting to come unglued. Hopefully it won't completely fail...

I never trust a product with a 4 letter bad word for poop contained in it's name...

I don't think anyone has complaints about AG customer service. You guys/girls are the best.:)

My Shmitt just ripped a little where I fit my hand in, cause my hand isn't small :p. It hasn't come apart yet. I used to wash it in the washing machine too, but I saw that there was no sense in doing it (except when I first got it, I wanted to wash it with woolite on warm water before I used it for the first time) so I just rinse it clean after washing the car :D. I have dried it on low heat once or twice. Nothing bad happened. I've also had my Shmitt since January. Maybe there's a few bad batches of em once in a while?

Mydnyghte, talk about customer service this is the place...
klumzypinoy, don't washed your Schmitt in the washer, the hot water will screw with the glue.
I have Meghan number on speed dial:D

Yeah I used warm water when I washed it :) I didn't wanna go hot hot hot. I was too scared and I'm glad I was. It survived low heat tumble dry too!
