Not sure if any of you remember, but I started a thread in here a few weeks ago about a detailing job gone wrong. I took my new Yukon to what I thought was a reputable place and it was returned to me in very poor condition with scratches and hazing all over it. Luckily, through this forum, Allan at OCD-Tailing reached out to me as he was local and asked to take a look at the vehicle.

After taking it in, working on tirelessly for several days, he was able to bring the paint to as close to perfection as I could have ever possibly asked for. It looks absolutely beautiful and I can't thank him enough for the work he put into it. I also wanted to thank all of you as if it wasn't for this forum I most likely would have been out of luck in trying to find someone that I trusted to work on it after the horrific experience I went through the first time.

Anyway, below is a photo and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks again OCD-Tailing for the superior work.

Awesome! Really glad to hear you are satisfied with the results. And OCD-Tailing for delivered awesome work under quite the pressure to make it looking beutieful again. Was not worried though that he would be sort it out for you. As long as they before don't had gone through so it where not able to be corrected.

Thanks for the follow up with your nice car!

It's excellent that it worked out and came out great. And to OCD Tailling who took on this huge project and made it perfect! Just goes to show that the folks on this forum are a tight-knit community always here to help.

Now about those wheels... Time for some black 24"s, with low profiles, tint the glass and you'll be ridin' in AZ style :)

It looks great now. I’m curious if the original individual who butchered it did anything to make it right? Hopefully you got at least a partial refund, personally I would have gone for a full refund.

I finally was able to get pictures of the Yukon uploaded so I wanted to share with those of you who were following the initial thread concerning the OP's unfortunate experience to see the true condition of this vehicle. This is picture heavy so I apologize in advance. My customer already has Grit Guards and a Master Blaster so he is well on his way to becoming another AG customer. I gave him several samples of products to try and I provided him a wish list to take care of his coated vehicle. When he picked the Yukon up at my house he expressed an interest in learning how to polish so we are going to do his mother-in-law's Suburban soon and I have told him he can practice with my Flex and Rupes so he can decide if he wants to go all in on the detail bug. Enjoy the pics!!

The before pics are indicative of the condition of the entire vehicle.

Awesome work OCD-Tailing!

Generous and kind to let him test out the polishing!

What was up with the tornado mark on the left front quarter?

No idea, but there were other strange marks also. I told my customer that I felt lie Abby from NCIS--Forensic Detailing. This thing had so many weird things going on with it that had me scratching my head. All I know for sure is this was NOT a $1700 detail job. It was really weird how some of the "coating" came off with Menz 400 and an orange LF pad and other areas required UBER compound on a wool pad. I guess that might have been because they sprayed the coating on and it may have been really light in some areas. It was a tough one for sure.

Thank you very much Tony. I was really glad to turn this into a positive for him after the ugly situation he had been through.

Nice pics, and work OCD-tailing.

Those before pics really validate the initial questions from the O.P.

Again, excellent turnaround!
