SHIPment that is. I just received my first of 3 orders from AG. It was like Christmas in April. I got the 7424XP Starter Kit
Pinnacle Ultra Clay Special
16oz Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer. This is where my questions start.
I am uploading the photos so everyone can see the scratches that are present. They look a lot worse in the pictures, the metal flake is showing up as white spots in the light. I can not feel the scratches so I am assuming they are minimal. I believe they are from that damn foam brush at the local car wash, thought I could use it as long as I rinsed it out with the sprayer first, I guess not.
Can I get out the scratches with a White pad and the "Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer"???
I am assuming not without 4 passes but I am new. If not I need some input on pads and polish. I was going to order the 5.5" orange flat pads from LC. Then I was going to order 105 and 205 only because I have seen it posted the most, but I am not sure if that is older items. The other one that I cant seem to find anything on is the D300 I don't see it at the AG store. I have also heard about the MG Ultimate compound but I am not sure about where that would fit in the cutting step. Like 105 has more cut than 205. I also read a couple things about 105 not being beginner friendly.
This is a daily driver but I put around 40K mile a year and it has the unlimited drive train warranty so I want it to last. Even though this is a daily driver I ordered opticote in my second order from AG so if I do this I want to make a perfect as I can before I put the opticote on. Sorry for rambling I believe the only thing missing is polish and more aggressive pads, so let me know. I am also uploading photos of my head & Tail lights. Should these be taped off when buffing and can I add the opticote to these. Thanks
