My solution to $150 foam guns...

I picked up the foam cannon + adapter set for my husky pressure washer.

I tried it with my turtle wax ice soap and got zero suds. So Im not sure if it was working or not because the bottle didnt seem to use that much. I went over the whole car twice and didnt even use a quarter of the bottle.

I have a sample of the DP foam wash on the way. Im gonna try that when I next wash, if no foam its going back to HD.

I used at least half the bottle going around the car once (small suv). It was empty before I got around a second time.

I was also using the 'high foam' setting (the green lever on top pulled all the way back, if I recall correctly (maybe it was pushed all the way forward?)).

I forget without going out to look at it, but I had it in right the direction on full suds.

Maybe I didnt use enough soap? I used maybe like 2oz and filled it up the rest with water.

I can see some of the benefits of the foam guns but they sure seem to use a lot of soap. Not sure they are very cost efficent.
They are very efficent. I have the foam cannon from AG, fill the bottle about a 1/8 with my soap of choice and it whites aout the car. Have you ever tried one?

I get plenty of dwell time with CG Maxi Suds II...also Megs APC foams great if you need to use the APC as a pre rinse

Anyone looking to purchase a foam cannon Google (foam jet injectors) and you will find exactly what you are looking at a fraction of the price.
That looks just like the one I paid over $100 from AG minus the logo that fades off after time and half the price,,hmmm.

This question is for the g-clean foam blaster owners.

Do you have to aim it down slightly to shoot it straight? I returned mine because it made doing roofs rediculous. I had to aim mine down at like a 10 degree angle to shoot straight. Rediculous.

I took a look at all of them on their shelf and the two peices of metal inside were all wrongly designed. Not a single one of them will shoot straight because the top flap maybe angles down at 5 degrees for example while the bottom flag aims up at 10-12 degrees forcing water to shoot upwards instead of straight.

But its so stupid. I dunno, maybe it is by design.

I would have figured someone would have mentioned it.

I never really noticed... I used the money that I would have spent on a foam cannon and bought more detailing supplies from AG!

Went to Home Depot to see about the Green Earth G-Foam Blaster . Only $17.95 and attaches to your eled.or gas powered washer. Wow, this thing is great. Tested it out to day and it sure makes lots or foam on the high setting. My power washer is 1650 psi and elec. I did have to purches the adapter for the elec. model hose. If you have a gas power washer it will attach to the end of your high power hose end just as it is.

used 3 oz. of car wash soap and 8 oz. of water in the cantainer per instructions.

If you spin the end all the way around, it will shoot down, instead of up. If you spin the end 1/2 way, it is a direct stream, and doesn't fan out.

also, right now you can order it online at HD and use the pick up at store option, to get it for $9.97

Believe it or not this works pretty darn well! :props:

ah that looks so nice.

Is there a similar item for regular hoses? I saw a video comparing "10 lowes foam gun vs gilmour foamaster"

the whole time i was like "whats the name of the lowes gun so i can get it"

Wow i was just about to buy a foam canon. Think ill give this a try first can you use any soap with it?

went to home depot and bought one today. Very happy with the foam and the result. Used 2oz meg's gold class and warm water. It was plenty to foam the entire vehicle twice, including wheels and wheel wells. Now with the money I saved i'm going to by the Pinnacle Total interior/exterior kit. I have a nasty full detail in the morning so I'm going to put some APC in the gun for a presoak, rinse, soak it with apc again, wash with 2 bucket method, and then foam it with shampoo to clay it. Should probably save me an hour's time.

Hi everyone, I picked up a foam blaster the other day and modified it to work with a regular garden hose! Unfortunately, it doesn't work well at all. I will post pictures later, but I would like to figure out why this model wont work with a regular hose compared to, say, one designed for a hose? Does anybody know what the difference is? I am determined not to have to break out my pressure washer everytime i foam a car!
