my website

Blackfire, I need to pay you to do my webpage. You have a way with words. Very nice.

Colin

Nice job, Shawn!

I think that Blackfire has given some particularly good advice, I would reiterate/add:

- About Us: The second sentence does not read well.

- FAQ: The answer to the second question is incomplete.

- Dawn Soap - I would remove all references to Dawn. The forum members know why you might want to do this, but I agree that it has the potential to scare away some business.

- Process: I personally would "dumb down" the process sections.

First, by spelling out the products and steps, you tend to leave the impression that all I have to do is go buy this stuff and I can detail my car twenty times for what this guy wants to charge me. (I know detailers who use all generic bottles... a little extreme, but I understand what they're doing.)

Second, I think that the average high-end car owner would be more impressed by something like:

- Your vehicle is washed with a process designed to ensure that the paint is properly prepared for correction and protection.
- The highest quality automobile polishes available from Germany and the US are used in combination with professional buffing equipment in order to remove most imperfections and bring your investment to a better than new condition.
- The best acrylic sealant or carnauba wax (or both) are used to protect your deep shine from the elements, ensuring the beauty and preserving the value of your automobile.

Nothing "wrong" with your detailed process notes... just a personal preference thing.

Best of luck!

Your Detailing 101 classmate,

Jay

Very good wording, Jay! I'm a professional painter, home remodeler, and can appreciate what the discriminating buyer looks for when making a buying decision.

Sulley's Detailing.

On some pages you have Sulleys and others you have Sulley's.

I was browsing the affiliations page and noticed that the Off The Hook and Guardian images take the prospect to the photobucket page that hosts the image. That needs to be fixed because *most* web browsing folks usually mouse over the image to bring up the link. The images are a dead end link.

Question. Do you receive an affiliation fee when a purchase is made at your affiliate sites? If not, it's something to consider.

Please give us some feedback.:)

Additional Services:
Engine Bay Detail - $40-80
Convertible Top Cleaner & Protectant - $50-100
Aluminum Wheel Polishing (per wheel) - $50-100 (other aluminum polishing can be done upon request)
Polished Exhaust Tips $40-80

50-100 bucks per wheel?!??! lol

Looks good otherwise! Yours prices are really cheap though for the work you do! I would consider pricing the paint correction a little higher though. just my thoughts.

On the homepage I noticed a few typos's. Here is how it currently reads: Feel free to look around our site, see our previous work and past/present clients. We only use premium products in every service we offer, from a simple wash to an extensive paint correction. Sully's Detailing currently operates in the South Florida area from West Palm Beach to Broward and Miami. We strive for perfection in everything we do, and we expect nothing less.

I already am going to look around your site whether I'm free or not lol. "see our previous work and past/present clients." What does that even mean? Reword that.

Flip this sentence:
We only use premium products in every service we offer, from a simple wash to an extensive paint correction.
Correct sentence: From a simple wash to an extensive paint correction, we only use premium products in every service we offer.
