Mrs. Sizzle and I went up to the mountains of NC/TN for a few weeks to get out of the heat/humidity of SW Florida. Trip went well, weather cooperated for the most part, except when we were in TN driving The Tail of The Dragon and surrounding roads...it broke, and we enjoyed it, but I wish it were dry and sunny!

Macan got TRASHED and there were numerous 'blackmail' photos taken of it filthy! LOL

A few pics in no particular order...

Great pics!

I went 6 weeks ago and it feels like 6 months ago

I need to make it to some part of the Blue Ridge Parkway at some point. That Lodge looks cool for sure!

Thank you Rookie!! Most def, you need to schedule a western bound trip one day!

Great Trip Heh?

I've been there 4 times on my bike over the last 7-8 years or so.

These pics are from the Dragon in 2015.

Very nice, glad you got away. The wife and I did a 3500 mile round trip visit to the Blackhills and Badlands of SD to meet up with our Daughter from SF,Cali this past Sept ( hiked around for 5 days).

We drove LexusIS350, man did it get trashed. Spent 4 hours cleaning just the outside once we returned home. I did perform bug juice removal after every 10 hours of driving ( what a mess).

2black: Nice! I had done it in the past on my bike back in 2000/2001 and it was a blast! This was the first time on 4 wheels.

Marky: NICE, that's a trip! Yep, I feel your pain, SUV was trashed when we got back. I did do 1 2 BW and a few do it yourself rinse offs during the trip...

ZIZZLE...my wife and I always visit the smokie MTNS....every year....we didn't go this year because of the virus....really miss it...there...great people...great food and scenery.....hope you had a good time

Thank you for the pictures Scott! That stream made me think of creek fishing for smallmouth bass...:props:

Thanks for all the responses everyone! Glad you are enjoying the pics!

Forrest, YES! Their food was excellent!

Paul-wish smallies were in there, don't think they are, just some trout!

Klasse: $200 & change--do it! Worth every penny!

Thanks Scott My buddy Hectour and I were talking about it and we might actually stay there. Did you notice if they had a fire pit? We've always stayed somewhere where they had one and really like getting a fire going so we can relax and BS about the days fun
