I have a choice of pretty much all of the brands from my dealership.. nearly all reviewing websites have branded Continental as best performing tyres.

What brand would you guys recommend?

Can't give you much advice without knowing what type of car you drive, what would you like to accomplish with the new tires. Do you go off-road, road tracks, street, etc.

If it's just going to be the one tire...
Go with the same brand/etc. as the other three.

Cheap tire, good tire, race tire?

If cost is no object and you like to track your street car look at Pirelli's

Drag racing? I like my Hoosier's in P335/35R17 DOT Drag radial. Legal, but not good in even damp roads. $237.00 each

tire rack consumer survey matrix is imo the best way to decide on tires.

Michelin PS A/S 3 are what i run on my tire eating Eurochard-tuned AMG and they are sensational. Michelin engineer told me that they are so close to PSS performance specifications with much greater characteristics - as an a/s that was all i needed to hear.

look for the matrix that looks like this:

Yeah, what kind of car and how do you drive it?

The Michelin AS/3's are really good tires for everything, high treadwear and trip.

Sorry for the late reply guys! I totally forgot about this thread! hahahaha.

It was for a Vauxhall Corsa D - and for regular, everyday road use.

I ended up purchasing 4 brand new tyres a two days ago.. but I have forget the brand.. lol.

I was going to go for the Continental but they're just too expensive for a set of al four. :(
