So how did the 350Z turn out Slickooz?
:whs: I was wondering the same thing Feed back please:buffing:
He is 100% right get yourself a website you can make your own on go daddy or word press pretty cheap. Post before and after pictures, and list the process that you did on each vehicle. Make a servie page you can look at mine on my site if you want some ideas. Also you can make yourself a facebook page for your business for free. You can also make yourself some business card and place them in businesses in your area.
Next when you get a phone call or an email about someone wanted to get there vehicle detailed make sure you inform them on the processes and products you use. Teach your clients what detailing is all about.
Now would you want to do 3 cars a day for $225 (at $75 a vehicle) or one vehicle at $225?
For every 10 phone calls (new clients) I get I will land about 1-2 jobs. Now for the other 8 people that called they want the cheapest detail possible, but want it to look like a full correction. From experience you dont want to deal with these clients, you want clients that take pride in there vehilce and are willing to pay for the time an effort you put into there car. If you are taking your time and paying attention to detail you want to get paid for it.
Dont under charge for a job because if you get people reffering you to others they are going to mention the price they paid. This is bad because your going to get yourself stuck in a cycle of undercharging because everyone is going to be like well you did the same type of detail for him and it only cost him $75 why are you charging me $225
Sounds like a success story to me!! :xyxthumbs:Sorry guys for the late response. It didn't go as well as I expected. First we were suppose to meet at 4, which was close to getting dark. He told me there was traffic so we meet up around 5. Then when we got to my house he said he only has a few hours, (I told him a few days ago it will take anywhere from 5-10 hours).
I told him I didn't have enough time to do paint correction. He told me he only had 2-3 hours, he then told me he just wanted the car shinny.
I cleaned his tires with APC then rinsed it with water then cleaned wheels. Then washed the car, clayed the whole car and then waxed it with machine. And cleaned window with RainX. It was getting dark and I didn't have light so I used my car high beam.
Took about 2 hours to finish the whole thing, it got real dark but I made sure I buffed all the wax off. He also help me do most of the wiping, while claying and buffing the car.
Asked him for 50 and he gave it to me.
I really wanted to do the paint correction, for practice and to see if I can remove them.
I called him today to make sure he was happy with it and how it looked, he said it looked good. A happy customer is always good in my books.
Sounds like a success story to me!! :xyxthumbs:

Mission Accomplished: Make the car shiny
Do an advanced search for thread titles with Little green machine or LGM and I think you'll find pics of results with that machine.Today I bought the Bissell Little Green retailed for 80, I got out the door for 55 dollar. Is that what people using starting off? I saw there was a Pro Heat one but that was for retailed 115. Will the Little Green be good enough or do I need the Pro Heat one to get the job done? Thanks guy.
Also was looking for work lamps. Saw one at Lowes for 35 bucks and there was one at Homedepot for 30 bucks. Both 1000W is that bright enough to show swirls? Want to pick one up asap.
