One of my friends just purchased a car where the previous owner painted some of the depressions in the body panels. Unfortunately he lives quite a ways away from me so I just cannot go over and try different products to remove the paint. I told him to find an out of the way place and try some Acetone and see if that removes the paint.
I am sort of at a loss because I feel a rotary will just take the original body paint off of the ridges and I do not feel a PC would be able to do the job.
Has anyone faced this problem and what methods did you use to remove the paint? He did say that the paint was brushed on and very badly at that.
