Need opinions on this Photo Shop I had done.

i thought that's what you were thinking hehe...

IMO, it should be able to be matched, despite the age of the surrounding finish. there is alot of tinting that can be done to match aged colors. it really depends on the technology and training of the shop, and of course their paint system.

paint codes can have a TON of tinted variants.

i'd find someone who will guarantee (within reason) that it will match, or atleast a satisfaction guarantee...
I'll look around and see whats what cause I would like to stay all white. I'm kinda fond of white on white theme going.

i agree! i think that car is awesome in all white, i really do.

definately shop around/ask around, i think you'll be able to get what you want.

I hope but I don't have high hopes of finding one near me.
If you look at my pictures you can see the rear bumper is whiter/brighter the the rest. I don't want that on my roof every time I look at it. Bumper I can ignore, roof I couldn't.

Look what Wystang sent me, this is his real plan :D

dude, that's gay. You might as well paint the roof in rainbow colors...:D:cheers:

My vote is for the all white, with supercharged's version a close second. Pretty good one dude :applause:

In honor of Wystangs use of fast food video avatars I submit for his consideration my version of how to redo his stang

The paint matching has another area to consider.
Yes, they can match your present faded paint color.
What is that match going to be when the new paint fades?
The old paint is unlikely to continue to fade at the same rate as the new paint and in a few years, maybe less, the match will no longer be there.
A lot depends on how long you keep the vehicle. It might not even be noticeable while you still own the car.
I had to have the nose repainted on a 20+ year old red vehicle and they did a perfect match. Today, a few years later, it doesn't. I doubt that many people notice, but I do.
Hopefully, the white may show up a little less than the red.
Unfortunately, I think it is something you have very little control over. Regular waxing probably helps, but it doesn't totally keep it from happening. At least, it didn't for me.

CharlesW I did not even consider the new paint fading and how it may look then. It may look darker (or dirty) compared to the rest of the car. I think black is now back on the table for consideration. Thank you for bringing that up.

Tough decision. :)
To make it even more difficult, I would still go with the white. :D

In the pictures, the difference in the color of the bumper is not noticeable to me.
Is it that much more noticeable when seen in real time?
Does anyone else ever notice it?
Keep in mind that the roof is somewhat separated from the main body and it might not be as noticeable as you think.

I notice it because I know it's been repainted and when I polish I look at the paint in all different angles. So to me yes I can spot it quick, I've never had any one say "Hey your bumper been repainted" or any thing like that. I'll find out if I still have a job this weekend so I may have to live with it for a while *cross fingers and sends God a prayer* :D
