I've had my Griot's DA polisher for a few years now, and used it probably 2 dozen times. The pads are starting to show a bit of age (very tiny tears in a few spots, noticeable enough for me to think about getting some new ones).
I'd like to get a range of pads that will accommodate mild to moderate polishing, glaze/sealant and wax applications. I will be working mostly on my own cars and those of family members, so after the first rounds of polish I imagine I'll mostly be applying sealants and waxes as upkeep.
I'm getting low on my Griot's polish and wax and know that I want to try something new. The Griot's stuff is just too hard to work with & remove for my taste. And I wasn't too thrilled with the results. I was on a Zaino kick for a while, but need to do some minor paint correction (swirls from improper washes - I'm ordering grit guards and starting the two bucket method too) so Zaino won't cut it (pun unintended).
I was thinking about CG, but then I start reading threads about Wolfgang, and I'm still up in arms. Anyhow, can anyone at least help me settle on some replacement pads so I'll be ready to go once I choose my new chemicals?
