I dont get why you need 700+ HP in a 4 door car.

Now that would be a nice ride.Too bad the 300 is not getting the same treatment.

I see what you're saying, but lets be real, you don't NEED 700+ HP in any car. Well maybe some ginormous RV - maybe. But a commuter car with 700+ is just overkill.
The GF is not happy, I kept poking the bear telling one might show up next spring!

I had NO idea that the Charger Hellcat is going to AWD, the Challenger isn't and because its the same platform, for the most part, surprised AWD isn't going on the Challenger Hellcat too.
I find it amazing we (USA) can take the easy way out and shove a large engine and blower into a car, AWD from an SUV and call it a legend in the making. It would be nice to be "ahead of the curve", pardon the pun, and start making smaller cars that handle and accelerate, stop and steer, this is the future, seriously! I'm not just saying this because I have a hot hatch either, just looking forward, you can only look back for so long. I'd like to see a smallish, mid-sized domestic with forced induction, AWD, big brakes (not those fake azz covers Mustang owners use), a manual option and proper tire and wheel packages, something like the Ford Fusion, spelled FuZion w/ the SHO engine, AWD, 6 spd LSD and killer brakes and tire/wheel package, can you say S4 killer! GM can do this too, well, let's get the ignitions sorted out first, with the Malibu, drop in the turbo V6 from Vauxhall, AWD and tune the suspension and have at it! The Regal GS is "almost there" right now, just needs to visit Jenny Craig and add more power to the 4 or drop in the turbo V6 from the Insigna VRX, a no brainer!

I like the old Chargers and Challengers too, but I was referring to the new Charger and the new Challenger, both of which share a common architecture, engine, drivetrain, etc. :dblthumb2:
We should be thankful cars like this even exist with the growing concern for the environment! :righton:
707 horsepower at your local Dodge dealership...who woulda thought?! :cruisin:
