I just got an email notification from Chemical Guys about they're new microfiber pads :D They are pretty much just like any other microfiber pad but i just love the color of them haha Not sure if i can link it here for you guys but you can just head on over to their site to take a look. Definitely something ill try out in the future :xyxthumbs:

The orange and black is the compounding pad while the black on black one is for polishing

These are nothing more than relabeled buff & shine microfiber pads. Save yourself some money and skip the middle man.

Must say they work great, haven't used the "CG" version but the buff n shine cutting is towards the top of the microfiber pads. Cuts great and finishes beautifully
 
Since it's just relabeled and you said it's at it's best. I gave the re labeling a thumbs up.
 
I saw this email too, and I was planning to take a ride down to their warehouse this weekend to pick up some towels, maybe I'll grab a few.
 
I've used the CG pads at their Smart Detailing University! Liked them a lot! I just put in an order for a 10 pack of buff and shine pads. They definitely look the same! As soon as I get them I'll let you know if they're the same!
