New Formula Optimum Polishes in Stock!!

All these use SMAT (sub-micron abrasive technology) which is non-diminishing. The paste Compound is more aggressive than M105 and the spray compound. The Polish has great cut but finishes flawlessly. The finish polish is for jeweling the paint which increases gloss and reflection.

Thanks, Chris. Are these polishes(abrasives) more geared for rotaries, or are they effective with DA's too?

So no dusting, long work time, and more aggressive the M105??? Anyone want my M105? LOL

They are very effective with both machines.

The AG store descriptions only mention rotary use. How does the work time compare to Menzerna polishes with a DA?

What are the pad recommendations for the compound and polish?

I noticed the descriptions say formulated for OEM, does that mean factory paint? What about re-paints? This kind of reminds me of how Meg's recommends their MF system for factory paint.

Mark, that just means that it was originally developed to be used on production lines...they cross over to repaints and reconditioning just fine. Optimum supplies products to many OEMs in addition to the consumer lineup.

When did the new formula start shipping from AG? My order just shipped yesterday, so obviously I hope I didn't just buy the old "bad" stuff. The "new and improved" announcement was posted like 5 min after I finished checking out LOL

BTW, my order was almost all Optimum goodies. Can't wait to get my hands on the OC :)

optimum finish is an amazing polish that I have found can be used regularly without concern of removing much clearcoat. It leaves an incredibly smooth finish, one that I am begining to think may rival 85rd.

Going to have to get some new formula Compound II and Polish II if they're similar to Hyper Spray Compound (HSC) and Hyper Spray Polish (HSP). I like the worktime and low dusting of HSC but hate the messyness and splatter from the sprayer.

Question for Chris - will these new polymers and abrasives in Polish II and Finish Polish eventually find their way into a new formulation of PoliSeal?
