New forum upgrade!

Background too bright. VB mechanic, go check out jeepforum.com. They just did a similar upgrade with lots of complaints about the background color being too bright (white). That forum was changed to a light grey background and much much better now.

Interesting, thanks for the feedback, very useful. Will look into it and see how can we apply a solution that works with our current version.

Where'd you find the "24 hour" button? I looked, but couldn't find it.

Bill

When you get the error that there is no new message, in the text box there is a link to check out posts made in the last 24 hours.

If anyone's having trouble with their iPhone app not working, simply delete and re install. Works fine and there seems to be a few nice upgrades.📱👍🏽

Found it! Didn't realize the "bold" was a "button".

Thanx!

I have a minor glitch to report: On the iphone app, while on the "who's online" list, it only has the details/option to view thread for the 1st small # of users [for example there's no info past the letter C's at the moment] all users past the letter C simply display "Viewing Autogeek Index"

On the previous version it would load the next batch of users as you scroll down the list, on this new updated version, it simply loads the whole list at once, and not as you scroll down the list.. I'm guessing that may have something to do with it not showing the proper info?
Just a heads up. Thx.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. It could be due the render that the iPhone app is using to show off the who's online list, I'll check and will update later on.

FYI: I'm using iPhone 5s iOs 9.1
Just In case that may be a factor. I dunno.

Ok, if you insert a link, like this: April Fools Sale

Can we get it to appear in a different color so it stands out as a link? It seems to be some vB default to the same color, we go through this every software upgrade. It only changes color if you hover over it, we (I?) want it to be a different color without having to hover over it.

I know Mike Phillips said somewhere that you guys were working on the ribbon menu, just wanted to add that the chatbox link doesn't appear on the ribbon on all pages, like if you are on the "New Posts" page Chatbox is not on the menu and you have to go to a different page to be able to get to it.

Seems to work now

Pretty sure the problem is the compatibilty with iOS 9.1. I'll try to get more debug information about it, and will get back to you once I get more solid confirmation of the cause. Appreciate the patience.

Yea I was going to suggest checking out if that same problem persists with someone else iphone running the latest version of iOS9.3
I'm sure there's a few people in your office to provide an easy test on their phone.

Plenty of patience here.. Appreciate your efforts in providing a quality free app.👍🏽

I dunno, it doesn't work for me. Did you use the "insert link" button? I usually just copy & paste, but I tried "insert link" and that came out black like before...not blue like you got.

I didn't use the "insert link", I used BB code to get the color, sorry for the confusion.

That's kind of cheating, lol. It used to be that if you just copied/pasted a link, it would be a contrasting color. It's a setting--last upgrade this happened and they had to change it back. Or maybe it was the other forum.

Don't know if it's been covered already but I noticed the subscribed thread notifications are very slow.
