New forum upgrade!

Is there a way to search your own posts like before? There used t be a "User CP" where you could do this.

Click on My Profile in the upper right hand corner if on a desktop.

I believe That is not a "bug". It's a "feature"! To use chatbox you need to be on the root (top) of the forum menu.
That's the way the chatbox add-on is written so it's not in-your-face while reading threads. If ya' wanna chat go-to top.

I'm not talking about the actual chatbox, I'm talking about the "chatbox full" link that used to appear in the ribbon menu on most pages.
 
ok i haven't been on in a while and wow it looks different. i couldn't remember if it was vB before but i knew something changed. anyway, i hope some of the beefs i had with the old setup have been solved, particularly with image hosting. what about edit time?? haha

maybe it has covered in here - i have to go back and look, but one thing i'd love to change is the background color. the white is a no go for me!

anyway, glad to have popped back in here. hope the upgrades make everyone happy.
 
In Safari, on both my Mac and my iPad, there's a black bar that's part of the graphics, and it's covering most of the "remember me" check box on the log in page.

I noticed it in Firefox and Chrome too (Windows 7). It cuts off the bottom of the checkbox and part of the text.
 
In the previous version of the forum, when you used "Search Title Only" option in advanced search, it searched for the exact words you put in there.

For example, I wanted to look up for "Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant" (without quotes) and now I get a dozens of results that doesn't match the exact input I made. Is this a known issue?
 
Really like the addition of the Like button.

Before the upgrade if I had an Autogeek forum tab open or I bookmarked a page from the forum, it had the little Autogeek (is his name Stuart?) logo on it.......

Like this --->

(the old logo, before he got the polarized aviators)

Now the open tab/bookmark has the vBulletin logo.





The Autogeek store tab has the tiny AG logo. The forum tab does not. Please fix this.

Delete the Favicons file under your User Data Directory (link). That will remove all the cached favicons and will get the latest of each site you visit again.
 
For some reason any responses to my posts are now taking several days to alert me. Is that the way it is supposed to be going forward?

Its usually caused by a server lockout due the high amount of mails, and it gets resolved after a few days. We're scheduling a cleanup on that mail queue for the next days that'll fix this issues.

Following up on this...is there any way to get inserted links to be a contrasting color? I know at one time it worked that way but it seems to go away on every forum upgrade, I believe it must be a setting.
