New Guy here. Swirl ???

I'm using first generation PC.
You guys are great. Thanks again for your advice. I'll post after pics when finished.

MILLIONS of cars have had the swirls removed and polished to perfection using the first generation Porter Cable 7424 and 7336 polishers, just stick to the 5.5" pads as at least for the correction steps for the pad rotation reasons.

Maybe test out the 5.5 Surbuf Microfiber Pads plus a couple of foam pads and this will give you two very different types of pads to work with.

I pulled #3000 Unigrit Sanding Marks using a 6.5" Surbuf pad with M105 without even trying hard.

I would think it still would be up there pretty high .Mike mentioned it took out 3000 sanding marks without even trying.I did some wet sanding today used some 3000 also i was using the flex and cyan pad abd wasn't inpressed with the results.So i used my trusted back up rotary and good old 3m wool all sanding marks gone in a couple of passes.Of coarse it left some marring but the Hydro pads work great on that.
