About 3 months ago i purchased a 2013 F-150 FX2 that i absolutely love. I have always kept my vehicles clean but this truck i have become OCD about and detailing and protecting my investment is just as important as keeping it clean.
The reason im typing this is to tell you what i do as far as detailing goes NOW and you give me your opinion on if i should do something else or try something else.
Durgloss Wash #902 - On Paint, Trim and Windows
Duragloss Wax As You Dry #952 - On Paint, Trim and Windows
303 Products - On Trim and Tires
RainX Window Cleaner on all windows
If while driving it, a bird craps on it or it just gets bugs or dust on it i follow up with
Opitmum No Rinse - Diluted 3oz to 29oz of water in a spray bottle. Spray and wipe clean. And follow that with
Finish Kare Quick Detailer - It leaves a great shine.
I am about to order some wax for it to get a nice base on the truck but cant decide what to get. I had the Duragloss #105 and Duragloss #601 in my shopping cart but i called a friend that informed me of all the products that i listed above and he advised me that he finds that the Opitmum Spray Car Wax(OSCW) does a much better job than the DG #015 & #601. So with that being said do i just apply just the OSCW and be done with it or should i do the DG #105 & #601 then OSCW or should i do it in a different order?
Im all about the easier the better so if i can get away with just useing the OSCW that would be great, im assuming that DG #902 Wash and DG #952 Wax As You Dry will apply a small amount of wax each time i wash to maintain a wax on the truck right?
*Iron X Treatment On Paint and Wheels
*Wash with DG #902
*Dry with DG #952
*Wax with DG #105 & 601 then OSCW or whatever yall say to do based on the questions above
*Wheel Wax on Wheels
*303 Products on trim and tires
*RainX Window Cleaner on all windows
Sorry my first post is so long.
