If it's your daily driver you have to learn to ignore a lot of imperfections or it will drive you insane.

A lot of us own black cars, I'm one of them.
First you have to correct the paint if you want to get rid of them, not sure if that's what your wanting or not ?

It's important to learn how to wash your car, I know it may sound silly to you but that's where most of the swirls and scratches come from, we put them there.

It would help if you tell us what is your plan, do you want to remove them, hide them or just prevent more?
You came to the right place for answers.

Welcome to AGO! Black is beautiful when it's clean but will drive one nuts as soon as dust/pollen starts to accumulate...

Welcome. Key to Black is learning how to properly wash. The less you touch it the better off you will be . If I'm not washing it I don't touch it .

Well, its a low mile 12 mustang gt, not a daily, I don't have any pro grade products just off the shelf stuff, I'm gonna buy a portercable I want to enhance and preserve the black, so I need advice on what to buy, use etc
 
I have a Black Car and have a daily driver. I feel your pain! I have changed my way I look at the paint. Any dust that cannot be removed by a blower or a CA Duster (used right) I just wash. My procedure is Foam Gun, 2 Bucket Grit Guard System. Sealant and top off with wax. All in the shade or garage. Either way my paint is still perfect after a few months.
 
Welcome to the group man, this place will help you keep it all shiny. I commute 63+ miles a day here, and on the 605 Freeway where all the rock quarries are. Its a constant rock blast out there. It is a challenge for sure, but I love it. Maybe I need to get my head examined.

My black truck gets DP Poliseal and Max Wax. I usually use ONR to wash it, ONR diluted for a QD (or Megs QD). I use Megs ultimate spray wax for quick touch ups.

As others said, washing properly is key. Also drying with a plush microfiber/waffle weave helps. Mine sometimes gets minor swirls from the QD before a parade, but nobody but me notices them. I use Poorboys SSR1 a couple times a year to get rid of them.

Black can be a pain to keep clean, but when it is, it sure looks good!
