The Lake Country Coating Applicator is a specially designed applicator for applying your favorite surface coating. Constructed using super soft open-cell gold foam, the Lake Country Coating Applicator ensures thin, even coats of your favorite paint, wheel, or glass coating are applied. The Lake Country Coating Applicator and its unique construction minimizes product waste, allowing you to maximize your investment.

Hmmm. Super soft (open cell?) gold foam looks like it would suck up a lot of product - something you don't want with a coating that can cost 75 bucks an ounce.

I like the Opti Dual Pro which uses a foam that seems almost impervious to liquids.

Is it open cell foam?

We've tested various types of foam compositions, and the gold worked the best.

The Opti-Dual Pro Applicator features foam and a neoprene type material.

It looks like its being used upside down as most appplicators have the yellow as the handle and black foam as the application point, LOL! I'll have to pick up a pair of them!

Have 4 of these on order. Apply coatings all the time. Will post some thoughts on this thread once I use.

Dang it, I have a couple of coating coming up, and could have put this in any of my last 3 orders. I am set for a while but can't wait to see some reviews!

Hey Nick, is this meant to be a "throw away" single use applicator for coatings or did they find a way to neutralize the coating curing process so we can reuse them??

Are applicators considered one time use only with coatings like Opti Coat, Cquartz, and C1/EXO? Or can they be reused?

...looks like it would suck up a lot of product[/B]...
^This is my fear as well... it's hard to beat the CQuartz Coating Applicator Block w/ the small mf suede wrapped around it. That application method soaks up almost no product and makes spreading it smooth and simple.

Looks like a nice tool to own. The gold foam does apply waxes a sealants very nicely, so it will be interesting to see how they work with the various quartz based coatings.

I ordered some of these the other day. I'll be sure to let everyone know what I think of them.

+1. And they can be salvaged for another use.

c quartz suede sheets are hands down the best for applying any coating or sealant
