*NEW* Lake Country Ultra-Fiber Microfiber Pads!

Can someone explain why there is no 4" MF pads? I mean really! Why?
Not only would Cyclo owners (like me) like this, but if you look at foam pad sizes - 4" is a standard size.

I not buying another pad until I am down to the backing plate until this issue is addressed, and I have a lot of inventory.

BTW - how cool would this concept be with an "Edge" deal? Flip and use the other side while the first side dries and is easier to clean with compressed air.

Optimum has them.
Optimum Microfiber Polishing Pad
Optimum Microfiber Cutting Pad, leveling pad, compounding pad

I'm sure Lake Country will have them too, these are brand new and just getting them out on the market!:props:

Huh? There are 4" LC MF pads.

I'm wondering why there is not 3" LC MF pads?????

so many different microfiber pads out these days and these seem to have fallen off the radar. does anyone use these (DA version) as one-steps and with what polish or compound?

I'm having problems with this microfiber pad. It seems after 6-8 passes, the fibers get tangled and I have to use a pad brush to untangle them. I'm using Griot's DA with Ultimate Compound/Pinnacle Swirl Remover #3.

I'm not trying to be mean but it seems like the consensus is that LC MF pads are the Internet Explorer of MF pads. I have tried and tried these myself and they are just not near the caliber of Optimum, B&S, or Megs. Time for a reboot! I love every other LC pad out there, but these need a remodel folks.

Agreed, I had them and did not like them. I traded them to someone who enjoyed them and wanted to try them. LC's worst pad IMO. Hybrid pads are the way to go!

Sorry to disagree, I also do like (prefer and use most) Hybrid line, but LC MF pads are not a waste.

They are a good match to Flex 3401 4" plate, and I've tackled many heavy defects with LC 4" MF, using many compound (D300, FG400, M100, etc).

Just beware they will cut fast, so I have to add they are not 'totally fool proof' like using DA with a ~polishing pad.

I have a thread on a PT Cruiser where I show defect removal with LC MF pads in few passes.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...uiser-fully-detailed-black-label-coating.html

The 'tricky' using MF pads is slightly lower speed than similar foam, 'FIRM' pressure (not Heavy) and slow arm speed. Again, beware at high points cause they cut fast.

Hope I've Helped,

Kind Regards.
