New McCulloch MC1385 Steamer?

I just need a simple answer:

I have the McCulloch 1275. I like it, it does what I need it to do. I use it to clean door panels, nook and crannies, trim pieces and what-nots.

I also have a mytee lite II hot water carpet extractor, so I don't use steam to clean carpets.

Is the 1385 worth the $200 amazon sells it for? So do I pull the trigger? Do I order now, and worry later? Wll I be impressed by the performance, or is the 1285 almost on PAR with the 1385?

I'd like to know soon as possible, so I can use my amazon prime and get I here by Friday....if I do indeed order it.

I've only used the 1385. I would have to have them side by side to give my opinion on if it was worth upgrading. I doubt seriously it would warrant buying the 1385 at this very moment if you already have the 1275. I would wait 6 months and see if the price drops or the New and Improved 1495 is released

The # 1 cause for regret is getting in a hurry. Hope my answer was simple enough for you

Did everyone order the MC1385. The place that makes them is about 20 minutes from me. If there are any more that want one I might be able to get a bulk purchase from them. Don't know if they'll go for it or not. I'll tell you this much you guys hit them hard because they are out of them right now. I see a few left on Amazon and a couple of other places.
 
Just ordered mine off amazon! Will be here for the weekend and I have a full detail lined up. Can't wait!
 
I had the opportunity to use my steamer on a detail yesterday and I'm asking myself why didn't I buy one sooner. If you're on the fence about getting this unit and you detail a fair amount, do yourself a favor and click "Buy". You'll thank yourself after using it for a short amount.

So far I have no complaints but I do have to ask when everyone else is heating there's up does it reach the 5th bar or the 4th?
 
Amazon had about 20 left and it was gone in a couple days. Now theres a 1-2 month wait. I'd think many people who saw this thread bought them all out lol.
 
Glad I got mine Friday, used it all over the house! Love it.
