Just wanted to introduce myself. I have two cars. 2019 Durango RT and a 1999 Camaro Z28, both black The last few weeks I've been correcting the paint on the Camaro in my off time. I drive for FedEx Freight overnight to Des Moines and back so I work about 12 hours a day.
I'm definitely a very new beginner at detailing but a very quick learner. I'm working with a Kobalt cordless polisher that I got for Christmas from the wife. And have been using the 3 foam pads that it came with, m110 and m210, and Turtle Wax hybrid solution acrylic ceramic black polish. I've gotten some really impressive results with this combination. I did run into an issue where the Megs m110 and m210 filled in some of the paint cracks on the hood and door. The SS hood came from a different car that was in an accident and had paint cracks from the hood flexing, it is made out of SMC. I did figure out how to clean the cracks with a sonic toothbrush because it didn't scratch the paint after polishing. I've done some light wet sanding here and there on the major scratches and cracks to flatten them out. I do plan on selling the car after fixing it up with the inside and out detailing.
I am having a hard time trying to upload photos through my phone on the website, the upload is not going through and it's only letting me select one photo. I can upload to an external source that I've used before if I have to
