Blue Waffle Weave Drying Towel, car drying towel

That is a good deal on the 3 pack and the 6 pack. Might have to pick
some of these up before the summer15 sale is off. Who's the hand model on the link? lol

I have one of these. They are pretty good towels. They are a tad thinner than the guzzlers but they do absorb a good deal of water. You just ring them out and although still they are moise, they will pick up water without streaking. I would say a good investment for ONR towels :)

As the resident towel addict and tester , I must ask why, why, why did I not get a couple of these ???? (breath easy ... count to 10)

Aren't these the VIP special (for the same 3/24.99) price a week or so ago?

is there a noticable difference between these and the guzzlers? by surface area of towel they are about half the cost, if my quick math in my head was correct.

Guzzlers hold more water, since it is a 2 sided towel. These new ones are nice and soft for a final wipedown.

OH Im getting more, I just didn't know which I needed to get. I already have guzzlers, but I need a few more so that I can complete both mine and my wife's car before I need to a load of wash. I was curious if they were "new and improved" or what the deal was. I will probably just get more guzzlers, since I have been happy with them.

thanks

i just picked up some of these. very nice and soft, ill be using them for waterless washing.

Hey Meghan, If we buy 3, then we get 3 free? And buy 6, get 6 free?

Meghan - I bought 6 of these BLUE waffle weave drying MF's in August and just used one tonight. Have to say that they didn't dry the car very well. In fact, after using one and more/less spreading the moisture around, I picked up some other MF's to finish the job.

The ones I bought have finished BLUE satin edges. The ones currently on your site have RED satin edges. Are there any product differences??

I emailed Dwayne & Customer Service tonight about an exchange/credit since I was so disheartened. But, after seeing this thread, I though I'd post and see what you and others knew.

Please let me know.

Thx.

I'm with you, I had pretty much the same results and finished drying with the Shamrocks I have. I was thinking they might get better after washing?:dunno: I was thinking they might work well for glass cleaning then thought if they wont absorb water they will surely streak glass.:(
I am now wishing I would have gotten the Guzzlers...now the wait for them to go back on BOGO. It will be interesting to see what the reply is if there is any differences between the old blue edge ones and these new red edge (other than the color of the edge). If you don't get an answer here could you please let me know what Dwayne says by PM or something?

Thanks!

Thanks for posting this. ive had simiar results, and i just noticed the WW with the red border and it got me thinking as well. are there any differences between the blue and red border ones? thanks alot.

I just received mine last week and noticed the same thing. They seemed to push water and move it around more than it actually sucked it up. I too thought that maybe they would work better on the glass (my roof is all glass) and it didn't do well there either. :(

I use a waffle weave towel also.It isn't from Ag was giving to me as a sample from Pak Shak it also seems to push water around instead of soaking it up.What i did was soaked it in a bucket of water first then gave it a good ringing out it worked fine after that.I do the same thing every time i use them.Almost the same as using a shammy towel they need to be wet to work the best.

I was thinking about trying that. It just seems like its kind of a hassle to have to soak a towel before you can use it. But atleast the towels aren't going to waste if that works...
