Maybe Meghan did not want you to be kicked out of your house![]()
Guzzlers hold more water, since it is a 2 sided towel. These new ones are nice and soft for a final wipedown.is there a noticable difference between these and the guzzlers? by surface area of towel they are about half the cost, if my quick math in my head was correct.
Meghan - I bought 6 of these BLUE waffle weave drying MF's in August and just used one tonight. Have to say that they didn't dry the car very well. In fact, after using one and more/less spreading the moisture around, I picked up some other MF's to finish the job.
The ones I bought have finished BLUE satin edges. The ones currently on your site have RED satin edges. Are there any product differences??
I emailed Dwayne & Customer Service tonight about an exchange/credit since I was so disheartened. But, after seeing this thread, I though I'd post and see what you and others knew.
Please let me know.
Thx.

I use a waffle weave towel also.It isn't from Ag was giving to me as a sample from Pak Shak it also seems to push water around instead of soaking it up.What i did was soaked it in a bucket of water first then gave it a good ringing out it worked fine after that.I do the same thing every time i use them.Almost the same as using a shammy towel they need to be wet to work the best.I just received mine last week and noticed the same thing. They seemed to push water and move it around more than it actually sucked it up. I too thought that maybe they would work better on the glass (my roof is all glass) and it didn't do well there either.![]()
I was thinking about trying that. It just seems like its kind of a hassle to have to soak a towel before you can use it. But atleast the towels aren't going to waste if that works...I use a waffle weave towel also.It isn't from Ag was giving to me as a sample from Pak Shak it also seems to push water around instead of soaking it up.What i did was soaked it in a bucket of water first then gave it a good ringing out it worked fine after that.I do the same thing every time i use them.Almost the same as using a shammy towel they need to be wet to work the best.
