...there is no end in sight for RW's. LOL

"Optimum No Rinse Hyper Foam: The Original Rinseless Car Wash Now With FOAM
Optimum No Rinse™ (ONR™) Hyper Foam combines our revolutionary polymer based NO RINSE™ car wash with the power of foam. With the addition of foaming surfactants it makes for a versatile car wash solution that can be used as a traditional rinseless wash, car wash soap replacement, or a foaming pre-wash in a foam cannon or foaming sprayer."

  • Safe for all exterior and interior applications
  • • Combines polymer NO RINSE™ with foam
  • • Use as a rinseless wash or car wash soap
  • • Use as a pre-wash in a foam cannon or sprayer
  • • Leaves nothing behind, residue free

Holy cow, they had said on the Optimum forum that a lot of new/reformulated products were coming for SEMA, I didn't think they were going to drop them 5 weeks early. I guess that would be described as a "hybrid" rinseless, with both polymers and surfactants.

EDIT: I see this is at the same price point as ONRWW.

I've come full circle on foaming RW's. I liked Frothe at first, then it was just too messy and I did a full stop of using it. That said, those who like it, enjoy

That has been my feeling as well and the reason why I didn't add Frothe to my order.

Having never used a foaming rinse less wash can you elaborate on reasons you stopped using it. Seems like a contradiction being a foaming rinse less. But what do I know.

@Coatingsarecrack recommended Frothe to me for winter washes in the garage a year or two back but I never ordered any

Might be time to get both and experiment

Well, it's formulated to be used in a foamer and goes on like a traditional pre-wash snow foam but you simply wipe it away like a RW. Because it's a foam it gives you barrier of protection when wiping away, that I like but after a while it became extra work because you end up pushing the foam around, thus needing extra wipes. Larry from AMMO NYC had additives added to make it dry easier as well.

I liked it when on a road trip like the Dragon as I needed a better clean while on long road trip but after a while it fell out of favor with me, that's not to say others didn't adapt to it and have it work for them

You guys are outta control, this foaming ONR showed up about 15 minutes ago, no one's even used it yet, and you're all over it like Pan is selling it.

Wait a minute, I mighta gotten my metaphors mixed up there.

Here's what the foaming RW looks like in action, by the originator of the product. Notice you'll not hear best in the world, propitory blend, blah, blah, blah. This guy is a world class detailer, he gets asked to go everywhere and charges ALOT of money, watch a couple of his rescue videos and you'll see why

He is a class act, and I especially like the videos where he teams up with Kevin Brown, Eric Bemiss (sp?) and others and he gives them the respect for their chops that they are due

Thing is, Larry was a stock trader IIRC and look at him now!

One of the things I like about Primus 2.0 is it can be used as a pre-wash and bucket wash. I'm curious how this new ONR does as a bucket and RW. If it can do both well then it will likely be a winner IMO. Seems like a tough thing to pull off though.

I like that it leaves nothing behind. Kind of over the adding of sio2 for everything. Sometimes you just want a product to clean and leave surface pure.

As much as I love Ech20, there are times I don't want that waxy feel. I use DIY when I want just a clean surface.

Yeah, Ech2o leaves protection behind and if you've got some recent toppers on, well, Ech2o can be SMEARY, it's why I use it sparingly

That is how I felt about original Feynlab RW, when you just want it clean

N914 has essentially replaced that for me, although I miss how the original Feynlab could strip degraded LSPs

I returned the second generation Feynlab I ordered without even trying it after everyone said it was a disaster, and never got around to trying version 3

I had to go back and read the description again, I thought they were trying to say that this could be used as a pre-spray as well as a rinseless, but they do seem to be saying it can be used as a conventional wash.

This clearly needs a review by Pan or EC Details to explain it to us. But seriously, this needs better explanation, not sure who is going to do it. Hard to see this as a satisfactory rinseless if it's really foamy. Unless it's a "game-changer", which I kind of doubt.

This is ONR so I'm sure it'll get a Rag Company video highlighting the "game-changer"-ness of it.
