oh man, i have the older version polishing pads :-(
They work great, you won't be dissappointed. You'd only see the difference on 5% of cars out there.

No fear. I have been using the old version for a while now and have great luck with them. They are great pads and basically indestructable.

what would that difference be?
we use the mf system constatnly, maily doing hondas, hazing is a problem on the hondas. can one expect the optimum pads to perform any differently? I have 2 of the original polish pads from optimum and they work just fine. They do seem more durable.
Tith e 3401, the Meg's pads were grabby and balded in the middle. I'm not sure any MF pad will be different with this machine, but I still want to try OPT.
Watch it with the bald comments.
That's hilarious! I won't argue either!Someone was just telling me that was from excess testosterone...I didn't argue.

Chris, any advice for those of use using them with the 3401? Were they tested with this machine?
What speed did you use with the opt MF cutting pad and the 3401?Yes, they were tested with this machine and I have used them personally with it. They perform very well and if you encounter any grabby feel, just adjust to a slightly higher speed and/or make sure your pad is primed well. I have had no balding thanks to the open cell, cool running foam interface we used.

Chris, I've only tried it on my paint thus far, but higher speeds felt better. :righton:Different for different cars. From 4-6 as needed. Start at 4 and see how it feels/works.
