Just saw a Facebook update from Optimum about the following new products that are soon to be released!!! They are taking preorders now, and are expected to ship Friday!!

-Opti lens
-Opti glass
-Opti glass clean and protect
-Opti lens pro
-Opti glass pro

Bout time! lol, just kidding. Been waiting for these for about 3 or so months now, can't wait to try them :)

And I'm pretty sure AG doesn't like other vendor selling links, hint hint ;) trust me, been there lol

sounds like some nice products, bet you'll find them here soon !!

I hope so. I have been hoarding my pennies since Nov for OPT to release these.

Ok...so let the questions begin!

If Opti-Glass is "designed to chemically bond to silica based surfaces" how does the Opti-Glass Clean & Protect work, if the silica surface is already coated? And why is the bottle of Opti-Glass so big? Do you use a lot more then Opti-Coat for the same surface area?

And the Opti-Lens description says "once applied to the headlight or other hard surfaces"...what other kinds of hard surfaces? Trim? Will it protect better on black trim than Opti-Coat? Will it restore at all?

Opti Glass is coating for windows and windshield, while the Opti Glass Clean is a glass cleaner. Just like Pinnacle having glass coat and glass cleaner w/ water repellant.

I think this calls for an across-the-board Optimum sale so we can get all the prep products we need for the new coatings. What do you say, Geeks?

I've had Opti-Lens on the headlights of my Mazda for several months now. So far, so good. :dblthumb2:

Are you going to do a review on it?

Is there any particular benefit to using opti lens on a headlight instead of opti coat? Or will opti coat work fine?

From the posts I've read, Opti Lens has higher amounts of UV inhibitors for non-CC surfaces that will breakdown sooner than paint. OC would be able to protect the surface from chemicals, bird bombs, etc. but not prevent UV damage from occurring to the bare plastic (if it has been removed by wetsanding, for example) UNDER the OC.

OC does not have any UV inhibitors. It protects the inhibitors in the clearcoat. It isnt going to protect polycarbonate that has been polished after fading. OL will do that for you.

This is much better written than what I did, I shoould have read it before I posted mine. OC & OL are different products. I suspect OL will be at least as durable as urethane and easier to apply too!
