I actually think, visually, the wax shines better with the use of a MF bonnet on the PC. I would still recommend using paste waxes by hand, and removing with a PC. Just my opinion.. :awesome:
Suprisingly I never liked apply waxes/sealants by machine but maybe that was b/c with 6" pads you used to much product and still couldn't get to some areas. I tried applying EX-P with a custom 4" blue pad Edge made for me, very soft, and it was perfect. I did the whole car much faster then by hand witha perfect even coat that was thin. I got all the awkward spots as well. And being a smaller soft pad, even if it absorbed some product it still put down easier then 6" pads, actually think I used less product then doing it by hand lol.pt91 said:I know my technique is not the most common but I like to apply waxes (and sealants) by machine with a grey 4" LC pad. I use a small battery powered polisher but a pc works the same way. I remove by hand with a cobra indigo towel.
The only LSP I still use by hand is Souveran (don't want to waste it and the pad doesn't fit the container).
I tend to spend a lot of time prepping and am usually pretty tired by the time I finally get to the fun part of waxing. The machine just makes it faster for me with less hand cramping.

Is it really worth it? Is is really Souveran-twin brother, or is it more like Signature Series/Max Wax? $80 is a lot.
