i think it works. it seems like allot, but it gives your customers a wide choice of protection& services.

I think it's good.

Nicely broken out and a lot of options to choose from.

Sully,

I think it looks really good, but if I may offer some constructive criticism, make sure you go through your document with a fine tooth comb before you go to publishing. There are a couple minor typos (curried instead of cured, $40 and hour, etc.). These are very minor, but the first impression someone has of your business may very well be through your advertisement or flyer. I frequently see advertisements with errors, and my first thought is usually "this person did not spend enough time or pay enough attention to get his flyer right, why would he put any more effort into (whatever his product is)?" So please don't take this the wrong way. I can tell you are very professional and conscientious, just trying to help!:xyxthumbs:

Thanks for the help guys. Its not up on the site yet and I have 2 people going over everything I wrote to make it sounds better and the check for errors

I'm glad you have others looking over it as well. First impressions are quite important. Make sure one is an English teacher. They seem to be the best.

I love to read and edit scientific manuscripts even if I have no idea what they are talking about. Some are better at it than others.

Tons of options which is awesome and you do good work! However, personally, I wouldn't offer wax application without at least claying the car(unless it's a maintenance plan). You'll wash the car, but most likely the clear coat will still be contaminated, if not heavily contaminated. I don't see a point of applying a wax for looks or durability if that's the case. JMO. :)

Looks good Shawn. You have a very nice breakdown of services. I'm not sure I could get away with $40/hr. for correction work here in the 'Burg, but seems like a fair rate considering the amount of work that goes into correction. lol My pockets would be a LOT heavier if I charged and hourly rate for correction. lol

I dont offer that because most clear coats will get marred by clay. So thay is why i only clay the car if they are getting a polish or correction

I had a feeling you would mention that, and I understand. However, IMO, if you clay correctly(which I know you do), micro-marring shouldn't be a big issue. Plus, a coat of wax should easily cover up any micro-marring left behind. I still think this would be a much better situation than applying a wax to a contaminated clear coat for looks and durability. On the other hand, I don't offer a full on detailing business like you do, so I can be more picky than you. Most people don't know the difference between applying a wax to a contaminated or uncontaminated clearcoat anyway. :xyxthumbs:

Just something you might want to re-word.

Would Most Detail Business say that this is about the average pricing structure for detailing?

Prices seem a bit high and all the different options may throw off some customers. I usually just charge more if the customer wants full paint correction. If not I just do a simple 2 step and consider a "full detail". I had a big selection like you when I first started and I didn't get anyone really. After I simplified it I've been using the same one for 5 years now and busier then ever.

All areas are different however I think if I was going to pay $275-$300 for the platinum package I would expect more than 1-2 months of protection applied. I completely understand up sells but I would make the sealant part of the package. Just my 2 cents.
