Has anyone purchased the new MEG's Odor Eliminator Spray I am very curious as to what the new scent smell like?
 
Friday or Saturday I will be placing another order. Plan to order the new Wash & Wax to compare against standard Gold Class. Will be ordering quite a few things once again.

I actually purchased a bottle of the Ultimate Wash & Wax from the local parts store earlier today. :xyxthumbs: I did not realize you guys had the new products in stock already. Good to know.

Will you be using a foam gun? I'd like to know how well it works.
 
so far-any standard Meg's product that was redone and called 'Ultimate' was better than the product it replaced.

QD vs UQD (obviously UQD is better)
QW vs UQW (UQW us wayyyy better)

I actually need some odor eliminator as my DG spray is empty now)

I am not sold on the UQD yet. For one the price is double than the standard QD plus the QD is still awesome for OTC clay lube. I hope this car wash is good, because Wally's World has their Gold Class for about $6 and this is now double the price (for adding carnauba in the soap). :eek:

yes you're right on the price. It's a good QD and I love the sprayer, the smell, minimal streaking etc but $10 is a bit too much.

It's a great QD, but Optimum and DP still top it IMO..


I got to use Ultimate Protectant this weekend on my trim and tires. It left a nice, dark finish that wasn't shiny at all (after buffing). So far, it seems like an awesome tire dressing - it looks great and dries to the touch. I'll have to see how long it lasts, but based on all the reviews I've seen, durability should be quite impressive. :props:

I dont think UP was suppose to be a tire dressing as it forms a hard layer of protection that can micro crack on tires because of flexing. Pretty sure it was meant to be used on hard surfaces only...but I could be wrong on that just remember what I read on MOL.

I saw Rasky's review on MOL where he tested it on tires with good results, so I decided to try it for myself. I've driven probably 60 miles so far with no sling, cracking, etc...
 
I'm really looking forward to trying the Ultimate Protection and the Wash & Wax.

I picked up a bottle of the new Odor Eliminator spray Sunday. My car didn't have any odors but I spritz a couple squirts, got out and shut the door. Half hour later, I could't smell much. Just a subtle citrus scent left behind. I spritz a new squirt so I could see how it was full strength. It smells pretty good. Not offensive or overpowering. I guess if it's an odor eliminator, I shouldn't expect it to double as a long lasting air freshener. Hey not bad for the price though.

I actually reviewed "Lab Smaple P" (Ultimate Protectant) for Meguiar's and found it to work very well. It is however thick in it's consistency and I prefer something that a can be sprayed. That being said it still applied very easily with a foam applicator and was dry to the touch shortly after the application. Definitely worth a try! :props:
