Is this the end of the Little Green Machine from Bissell? Rug Doctor is now selling a portable spot cleaner designed to compete directly with Bissell's spot cleaners for $170.

The Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner sports a powered scrubbing brush and "2X the suction of its competitors". Really? Twice not much is still not much :-0

Is anyone familiar with this measure?

Looks promising...from the video looks like a solid unit. The head looks beafier with more bristles. Competition is a good thing.

im getting ready to purchase the LGM but if this holds up to its claims i may reconsider.

I just sold my Mytee cause it breaks down all the time so might get this for 1/4 of the price.
 
Looks pretty dope... But I don't see anything about it heating water
 
I'm going to see if I can pick one of these up locally today. If I can find it - expect a review. Anyone know if any local retailer chains carry this?

I checked the user manual and it calls for adding "hot tap water" and being able to use it right after plugging in, so I would say it doesnt heat the water.
