Wow that is a really nice place. A few minor things like some shelving and you will be all set.

Jarred mate! Wow! :dblthumb2:
I'm glad I stumbled upon this post. Thats a really great shop you have. Loads of space, lighting looks good, really nicely presented & set up well. Very cool Jarred. Only thing I would change - is that white stuff on the ground outside . . . . :xyxthumbs:
You have probably already mentioned this elsewhere but are you going to carry on doing mobile work too?
Have fun setting it all up mate, awesome, good for you Jarred.rops:
Aaryn NZ.
best of luck with your new shop
Congratulations, fantastic shop. Right now I would be happy with an insulated garage. 37 deg F for a high today. Keep us updated.
Thanks guys, appreciate the love and support:xyxthumbs:good to see you're finally in the new place!
best of luck man!
Thanks man!!!Dude! That's awesome! CONGRATULATIONS!
What is the total length from back wall to garage door? Can you fit big rigs and RV's in there?
May want to put in a lockbox where people can drop their vehicles off and just drop the keys in the box.
Is there AC as well as heat?
Yeah for sure! I don't know exactly what it'll end up at, but I don't plan on spending a ton, especially on things I can't take with me since I'm just renting. I was able to negotiate the utility sink, hot water heater, washer/dryer hookups, the extra lights and the drain into my lease, so didn't pay anything for those out of pocket. If you dont mind me asking.. I want to know a rough idea on how much you're putting into this? not including rent and up keep as those vary from location to location. I think some people would like an idea on how much they would need to open their own place.
Totally understand if you don't want to share though.
thanks!
thanjs for the tip. Yeah, I was trying to be as cautious as possible before doing the coating, but did an in-depth cleaning first just to make sure. I'm just finishing the last coat today then it'll dry for the weekend and hopefully I can get some pics updated on here next week.Looks great. Just a FYI, be careful with tire shine product use before you coat the floor, that stuff wreaks havoc with the bond on floor coatings.
It's just a standard industrial space, not sure if there's a Sid UDC name for them. Sorry I can't help more. What are those buildings called. I see a lot of guys running detail shops out of that type of building but I don't think there are any around me.
When I google "auto bay for rent" I always get old service stations. What do I google to find a building like that?
I've had some time for FB updates, but spend more time on IG these days.haven't seen you posting updates on FB, so i'm taking that as you're super busy taking advantage of being in doors now!
been in the high 20's all week, so i had to shuffle things around and haven't dont anything work related the past few days.
that's good to note, I'll keep it in mind come summer time. Thanks!Even if you have excellent insulation, the idea is to keep the heat from reaching the roof. With a fan, it forces the air back down, as well as the AC, so in reality, it's a win/win. A tad expensive, but on those really hot days, or really cold days, you'll be happy you have it.
Detail cars!!!wow, that is huge, what will you do with all the space haha
