Has anyone seen their paycheck lately. I have direct deposit so I normally don't look at it. WTF!!!! that 2% increase + the health care tax/insurance is pretty significant if you project it for the entire year. On top of this, I still am paying health care premium through my employer each pay period.
I feel like I am getting screw by the government.
Sorry you feel this way...
Hopefully you'll be able to reap the benefits one day, as I do now.

According to the Social Security Administration:
Maximum Taxable Earnings:………......2012……………….2013
Social Security (OASDI only)……….$110,100......…..$113,700
Medicare (HI only)…………………………….N o L i m i t…………..
-
My sincere wish is that for everyone that’s gainfully employed earns, at the very least, the
maximum taxable wages/earnings listed above…Hopefully a lot more.

BTW:
-The 2% increase barely covers the 1.7% C.O.L.A. for Social Security recipients (such as myself).
Although:
~$1260 a month isn’t going to make me a rich man…
