:righton:I knew if we only took the time we would reach an agreement:cheers:
Take pix and video, please!WOW... that was the most interesting 11 pages of forum i have read in a long time... i need to buy some System, put it side X side with some 106ff and see if they do the same thing. I got a buddy with a chevy truck, black hood.... perfect testing hood. and do it in direct sunlight. if they do the same thing, then I bought an extra bottle of 106ff!!!!
I've simply found that I can take 8 different polishes and eventually, by varying conditions aka pads, pressure, heat, I can get the SAME results from all of them.
I wish one's would understand that there is no exact to this hobby/business. It's all about personal preference and that's all that matters in the end.
Forgive me, Sir, for not expressing myself in the form that is to Your liking. May the Sir, please, provide me with His official guidelines so I can make sure my next post is more suitable, Sir? Can the Sir in the meantime honour us with his contribution of something actually valuable and on topic, please, Sir?
The nano abrasives are still the vehicle for paint correction. It is the way that they are applied and controlled that changes the way the abrasive cuts. I'm sure you're familiar with the many advantages that enable wool pads to have a higher rate of cut (high surface area that carries abrasives, driving abrasives against the paint with greater velocity due to their movement, etc). It is the density of nano polishes that gives them the ability to overcome the hardest ceramiclear type finishes. Now back on topic so let me just interject this food for thought. If it was only the pad doing the cutting then wouldn't any polish cut throught the cerami clear coats and we would not need specific polishes with the Nano abarsives to achevive this.
Aboslutely. I've personally been using this type of method with 106ff for some time now. The few times I've tried System One, it seems to achieve the same effect, and cost less, and is water based (which keeps me from having to mask, in many cases!).Isn't that why the Menzerna polishes became so popular for that very reason ? So from what I can gather from my sideline reasoning is that the systemone polishes are controling the cutting factor !!!!
Big Question... Would you buy this or would you buy Menzerna?
