ok so i have never used clay before on a car. but my mother wants her car waxed so i figured i would use this opportunity to number 1 clay a car and number 2 try out griot's best in show liquid wax (before i am always used meg. gold class paste) got the griots cause i think liquid would be easier to use with a DA polisher than the paste has been. ok now her car has never been detailed and does have a few scratches so i was going to use meguiar's ultra cut compound in just the areas with scratches to see if that will help. then ult.polish, show car glaze and griots wax. but i deffinitly want to clay it i did the plastic bag trick and it was VERY bumpy. so how much will i need. any tips in brand (i want to get it from local store auto zone or advance auto parts) dont want to wait for a order on this one. i dont know if the car matters i guess some cars have different type of paint but she has a 2012 chevy equinox. i am assuming i should try and find heavy clay the most agressive right? since it has never been done. also i heard i can use the same clay on glass to? any advice on this would be very much appreciated
