mark07 , since we talking a little about the megs mf , do u use it strictly with just the mf correction compound? . also u mentioned that these pads cut better than any foam pad ? have u had any trouble with pad failure like so many others? if the megs mf pads work well , crap I'll pass on a rotary and invest in the megs damf kit ? what's u take .

I mainly use the MF cutting discs and correction compound, or M105. Haven't used much of the finishing discs or finishing wax, but still have them. Yep, the MF cutting pads cut better than any foam pad I've ever used. I've had trouble with a few 3" MF pads failing, but not the 5.5" pads. A rotary is still the king as far as correction, but with the right technique, the MF pads can rival a rotary, IMO. A quality rotary is a VERY capable machine, but I think it takes a LONG time to TRULY master it. This is not the case with the MF system.
