I just picked up some used 2015 Audi S4 wheels that I will be cleaning and waxing. These will only be used for half of the year. My question is what is the most cost effective way to protect my wheels. I thought about a coating, but will be removing the wheels in late fall so they will not see any salt.
I have on hand
WDGPS 3.0
HD speed
Meguiars Gold Class (the tin is 5 years old as I almost never use this)
My goal is to allow brake dust to simply rinse off. I usually add some sort of spray wax when wiping down after a wash.
I'm not opposed to buying a dedicated wheel product either.
