New to wetsanding, did I mess up?

Lets keep all posts on track and family friendly ... if you dont like something then move on or consider a light approach (no more fancy french words either). Thank you all in advance !

May be time to push away from the keyboard for a few days, Fred. Anyone who has seen your recent posts knows that you're antagonistic and your posts have NO merit. Your post I quoted is what it is no matter whether I commented or not and you knew it when you hit submit. If you posted helpful advice or informed opinions, we wouldn't be here, but you just keep poking the bear with snide, derogatory, and unfounded information so I also see YOUR ulterior motives.

Mark I'm sorry to derail the thread, but I cannot let some things go unanswered.

Judging by this thread ONLY (don't know if there's a history here). I'd say the reason you're at this point is because you sort of called Fred a dousche for suggesting YOUR product.

Thought that was a very strange response being that you represent the very product he suggested. I didn't get a sense of sarcasm in his suggestion...but maybe you did?

There's a history, Kris

There's NO DOUBT Fred was being sarcastic in this thread.

My trusty friend Kevin Brown gave me some advice on this problem. I sent him a few pictures and he told me it looks to be air bubbles trapped when the paint was sprayed. He said that more aggressive sanding would be required to eliminate them. I went from 3000 to 1500 grit, then polished, and it worked like a charm!

Thanks Kevin!

Glad you got to the bottom of it Mark! I always use the least aggressive method first too...and would have been reluctant to go further on my own from what you described. It's nice to have experts like KB and many others available proving that forums are invaluable.

Wow, what an opportunity! You could take 2 or 3 years writing a tome in infinite detail outlining your process and keep the masses on the edge of their seat waiting. Call it the 'Mark z-oh-6 Method'. You could be famous! Or infamous... :D

As far as resolving this sanding problem, I wasn't saying he's the only one who could have told me that, but he did, and it helped. :) On the flip side, the are PLENTY of things about paint polishing that he could tell me about, that 99% of the population wouldn't have a clue of. His knowledge is unmatched(with the exception of a few out there). I've spoke to him on the phone several times and he's become a friend of mine. :props:

100% agreed, just poking fun. ;)

Which still leaves the question, "Mr. Infamous", are we going to see a M0M Method? :D

I would think the answer is YES.
