Newbie from Queens NY with questions

I doubt that bubble will disappear on its own; somewhat caused due to gravity and poor workmanship. The touch-up paint does shrink as it dries but like I told you over the phone you will need to add a number of layers to get the right filling effect. At that point you can decide to go through a wet sanding exercise.

As to the compounding they performed it looks like a good job performed. I can see a little bit of a haze which is normal after the compound step. A finishing polish would make things much less noticeable than they are now.

@jamesboyy, I don't think so. They just brushed the paint (which I bought for $20) on the spot and told me when it dries the color will match. I just took a picture this morning, doesn't look like the color matches. Could it be because of the weather - it's been raining lately.

@mwoolfso, regarding compounding, should I go back and ask them to polish it? Regarding touch-paint area, should I add more layers on my own? What products should I buy for wet sanding, for polishing? Any recommendation on basic care kit product for newbie? Any manual?

Well, as we discussed it will simply not be the same as it was. The closest you can get to a factory finish is if have the whole panel repainted; and that would be overboard in your case. Call me and I will run you through the process once again.
