I thought I always took good care of my truck until I saw some of the vehicles of the members on here. I wash it regularly and try to wax it at least every 3 months and it always looked "good" to me. After seeing what others' cars look like and reading a lot on here, I decided to step it up a little. I washed it, went over it with clay, then broke out the Dewalt rotary with some LC hybrid pads and Menzerna polish, and finished it off with Wolfgang DGPS 3.0. It's not up to the level of some of you guys on here, but I'm pretty proud of the way it looks for my first attempt.

The wheels and steps could use a good polishing and the bumpers need a repaint, but otherwise it ain't too shabby for a Y2K.

A couple overall pics and some close up reflection shots. Please excuse my poor photography skills. lol

Looks fantastic! Nice truck too...:xyxthumbs:

Wow well done with a rotary, that takes some testicular fortitude to try.

Thanks guys. I am really pleased with the way it turned out. I was a little worried about using the rotary, but after the first couple sections I was pretty comfortable with it. The tight concave curve in the box behind the cab was the most challenging, especially since I only had 6.5" pads. I hope to pick up some 5" pads and a Flex DA the next time there is a no exclusions sale, but I am really happy with the rotary, hybrids, Menzerna combination.

Very nice reflection shots, great job!
