Newbie To Detailing - Need Products!

I'm soooo pumped to to start detailing my vehicle!

You're just getting started my friend. Wait until you get a bit of experience under your belt, you will LOVE this hobby! At the same token, you will spend more money...lol. Not sure what I would do without detailing. It's not all gravy though, it WILL get frustrating when you don't get the desired results. However, stick with it and you will!!

I agree plus you have all of us whenever your in a tough situation to help guide you through.

I like Michael Stoops signature. Forgot the exact words but something like,

Detailing is a therapy not a reason you need therapy.

So go out and have a great time.

I still have to try rinseless wash lol. I'm always missing something. Now I need a ruler hahahaha

I think I'm just being a weenie about it. I'll get there though. Lol

Good luck Grizz! I'm a big fan of those FJ Cruisers!

Much appreciated dude. I find this as An addicting trial and error hobby.. I have a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe that is salvaged and the color is metallic gray. I may practice on pieces that are still in great condition.

Another topic I wanted to ask. For the interior, the flooring in my FJ is not carpet. It's thick vinyl, dashboard is plastic/vinyl, seats are some weather proof material from Toyota. What products should I use for pieces? And what is a good window cleaner? My FJ has tint on every window including the windshield.

Buy a gallon of Blackfire APC this current sale. So damn versatile and works great!! Dilutable and safe on most interior and exterior.

Dilute it 1:4 for the thick vinyl. If you need it stronger, use it straight.

Random question which I'm pretty sure a lot of people have asked this. Does this forum allow any sales or trades? Even if it's non-detailing products? I think this would be a great way benefit other members in a good way.

Thanks!

- David.
