I received a call from someone to do a headlight restoration on his Nissan Micra. I sent him a quote and he was happy with it. I agreed to do it for him the next morning. Upon arrival I saw the lights was in a BAD state. I had to sand them 3 times to make sure ALL the oxidation was removed. The bubble at the top of the headlight was a real pain to work around tbh.

I did not get to meet the owner but he assured me that he was happy with the outcome. I really LOVE doing headlight restorations for clients as it is extremely rewarding and gives any car a much better presence from the front.

Looks great!! That looks like it was tricky with all those curves ha

Nicely done my friend. I am sure the owner was super happy with the outcome.

Looks good mate. Gotta get this done on my car, too. Well done.

By far the least 'user friendly' set of lights I have worked on. It was a real pain

Thank you bud. Pitty I never got to meet the owner to see his facial expression

Thank you. It really improves the overall look on the vehicle a great deal. No first hand experience , but I can only imagine road visibility at night should improve a whole lot too

Nice work. Could you share your process?

Thanks bud.

Well I sand down the light , ranging from 600 gritt to 2000 gritt ( light dependant ). I then polish with machine polisher using a polishing pad ( green for my cyclo ) with Menz sf4000. After that I wipe down the light and apply my sealant for prevention of future degration.

If you need more specific info , don't hesitate to PM me

Nice save! No doubt any car benefit from this work, and you executed it in a perfect fashion.

Thanks for sharing, and...

I've shoot the PM!

Kind Regards.

Yes. As you sand the light becomes dull , then you polish it to restore clarity. After polished , I noted some imperfections I didn't Iron out so back to step 1 ..... untill I was happy. The bubble makes weird corners that is difficult to get into
