Being able to purchase these turn-key, after-market, off-sight-tuner-shops'-concocted, even under warranty, asphalt-scorching behemoths is truly remarkable....
But, IMO, it does take away some of the perspective that one obtains from a couple: Do-it-yourself gear-head projects...and the emotions that come with doing so. That, and the ol' wallet!

we talking the Camaro? The 2012 Camaro is called ZL1 while Corvette is called ZR1.

Im curious as to why Nick didn't throw in the Camaro ZL1 but shows off the Mustang. While it does have more hp, Im curious as to how much will be standard hp and how much you will have to buy threw a package deal. The Camaro ran laps at nuremberg that where in class of super cars, and while ford has been developing this car probably just as long as camaro we have no lap times for the mustang. Needless to say the pony wars are back which we can all agree is great news for all of us.

Cause it will be hitting the dealer lots April/May so its only a couple months before you can buy them

The 2013 Shelby GT500 actually has a top speed of 202 MPH

On Google Earth, you can spot the Nardo test ring in the heel of Italy's "boot" from 77 miles out. Nothing will compare to Norschliffe (sp?), but I saw this story and thought of this thread.

Well its good that you are happy with your car! Personally if i was to buy an SS i would want it to stand out and not look like the v6. But thats just me! :D

Agreed. And the V6 Mustang and 5.0 look the same too, exception to the badges. No normal person can tell the difference.

The rims and fog lights are also different from the GT to the V6.

IMO, its a lot easier to spot a GT over a V6 Mustang compared to the Camaro.
 
Ford really needs to stop comparing the Mustang to the Vette. Mustang, Camero, Challenger. Thats the class that car falls into. If Ford wants to keep chasing the Vette bring back the GT or shut up. Im tired of hearing the Mustang being compared the Vette and everything else for that matter. It really is getting old.

I do agree with you, these newer models do look very similar. It was the 05-09 models that looked VERY different. the v6 looked nothing like the GT and the GT looked nothing like the GT500. But the newer models do look similar but compared to the camaro they do look different.

LOL im a ford guy and i always find it hilarious at all the things people say FORD stand for. i like the Found On Roadside Dead. Tough my favorite one is the for the Camaro RS. RS= Real Slow! haha Im the MAN
 
Bah. For that kind of coin -- $60K -- I'd get a German muscle car. C63 AMG with 480 hp, 460 lbf·ft torque, 0-60 in four seconds, and the luxury and solid feel of a Benz.
