Northern Virginia team detail anyone?

It looks like I'm still coming. I guess I'll bring:

1. GG6 (all size backing plates made), 2. some pads,
3. some polishes (I only have small bottles)
4. some IPA,
5.some LSPs
6. Aquawax,
7.some IPA,
8.a couple extension cords and a plug splitter
8.some soaps,
9.some wheels brushes / tools, 10.Sticky Wheel Cleaner,
11.Grime Reaper APC
12.some wax applicators
13. Towels
14. If anyone is interested I can bring some CerriGlass and CarPro glass pads and show you how I corrected my windshield.
15. Some trim dressings.
16. Some waterless wash; likely Pinnacle
17. I could bring my pressure washer and foam cannon, but dunno.
18. Wheel Woolies??
19. Tuff Shine Tire Cleaner
20. I have a new bottle of Optimum GPS AIO I could bring.
21. Also I have a gallon of CG Citrus Red coming to strip off previous LSPs.
22. Werner Work Platform
23. Could bring some buckets and grit guards.


I also have a PC 7424 I can bring if anyone is interested. Ive never used a Flex / rotary / Rupes before. I can basically bring whatever anyone need me too except a rotary / Flex / or Rupes. Ill probably bring a case of water as well.

Holy moly lol, that's a lot of stuff. I will bring all of what I have I guess and figure it out there.

Im glad you're able to go because l actually just did the ceri glass windshield scratches correction the day before yesterday by following your guide/thread on it so I'd love to get your take on it.

And btw I have a Flex 3401 I will bring if that's what u meant u wanted to check out.

There is a possibility that I will have some HD polishes but I can't guarantee anything right now. Since there will be a large amount of stuff I won't pack much. How do we look on pads?

I can bring anything from the "Post your unpacking pics" (save the coatings - I can bring some HYDRO2 if requested) thread that I recently put up last week. A lot of stuff there available to try and review.

I'll bring water as well and probably get some snack food for the day (chips, whatnot). I'm bottling a homebrew Strawberry Blonde Ale this week, but it won't be ready to drink for another two weeks :/ So i can't bring any to share.. :(
 
Pads? We may need more. Anyone have any wetsanding supplies? I want to touch up and fill a scratch.

So what exact cars are we working on? I became confused after reading through all the posts again. We have some people leaving early and some arriving a little later. I have 2 actual cars right now that are set in stone, just need to confirm the others.

I'm making a costco run Thursday night for bottled water & snacks. Still haven't received any feedback on what type of meal we want to prepare. Dogs? Burgers?

I just cleaned up my parent's garage this past weekend to make it easier to move around and accommodate everyone.

Dogs/burgers is good. if you're running for water/whatnot the night before I can contribute a few bucks to offset the costs instead.

I will offer my vehicle up as a test bed - 2010 Ford Escape, Black - for polishes/products. It's a DD child hauler, so It's got some challenges, both inside and out (tan interior). I try to keep up with it, but I won't turn anyone away with tips or tricks as to how to improve it. I want to check out the werner platform to reach the top of the SUV and maybe get that polished/sealed before the end of the day.
 
I threw my car in the mix it needs very little correction and then prep for opti coat to be applied. I am bringing a gg6 and the Meguiars MF DA system (which I haven't even used yet) and obviously the opti coat. I don't have anything for the prep but IPA but that's all I need right?

Yes, so far only 6 members. We have 2 more days so I will update Friday night.

We have a chance of T-Storms Saturday. Let's all do our rain dance and keep mother nature from blessing us with the precipitation.
 
I'm glad you guys kept this thing going, we never have been able to get a meet like this to come together here in NJ.
 
I'll be there with my mustang - got it clayed last night so she's ready to rock

I don't have many products so I'll just bring what I have but I will have to head out in the afternoon

I'm glad too. If this becomes successful I may run these types of meets every once a month. If you set one up I'm sure members would show up.
