So after years of saying "I'll never try/use Zaino" I stepped up last year and bought the Zaino Clear Seal and must say I was blown away! Now this is their newest product, so since that was so good, I decided to also buy the Z-5 pro as well as the ZFX for quick, multiple layering. This too, awesome! So my question to you guys is this, why no talk about them here on AG? I also saw on the thread "products you wish you never bought" and a post from about 5 years ago and guy posted Zaino. I just would like to hear why anyone would not like Zaino, the shine on my car is utterly amazing (just sayin')
 
Stuff not sold by AG shouldn't be discussed on AG. It's mutual respect for their rules. I know you didn't know this, I'm just stating that's why it isn't talked about.

OP, I've never tried any of their products, but I hear good things and bad things, like everything else. Maybe one day I'll give their products a try, but I'm very happy with what I use now and it works.
 
I never talk about it because I never tried any.
 
Zaino is a fine line and offers alot of benefits for its user base. Sal the owner is also available for hints and help as desired.

If you like Clearseal , you need to try Optimums Optiseal, Ultimas Sealant, and Blackfires new Crystal Coat as all offer the same technology.

Even though I've noticed your references/posts regarding Z-CS on a couple of other threads recently, I'm still mildly surprised that you use Zaino products.

Sorry, haven't use the other product so I can't comment on it but rest assured, the Klasse twins really do a great job! BTW, make sure you applicator pad is damp when using both Klasse products, makes life alot easier, trust me. The wetness of the pad helps spread the product out better, thus using less product and less is the key when using Klasse.

I believe we have an AG member who is notorious to use Zaino which is Mark I believe is his name, but he doesn't talk about it either I am assuming because he knows the rules.

BTW I wasn't aware of this rule either.

Yeah I didn't know about the rule about not posting about products not sold here, so that explains that.

Funx725, did you want a side by side comparison, kinda confused about your post. Now as far as being surprised what I use, well, my screen name is the same for all the forums I'm on (this is the only detailing forum though, see no need for another one) and I've been a Klasse user since 2005 when I started using it on my then new Aero Blue Crossfire Limited (6 spd) and I couldn't get over how easy it was to use, I just layered and layered the stuff, especially in the winter where it was parked and I would go out there about once a week for "theropy", you guys know what I'm talking about!

I will refrain from speaking about the taboo product, so I'll call it what I used to call it when I said I'd never try it....Z. BTW, can someone please drop me a PM and tell me what they don't like about "Z", thanks for the input and I honestly do plan on trying either the Black Fire or Opti-seal per my buddy's recommendations, any input you guys would like to tell me about the 2 I just mentioned would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

In closing , I applied a coat of Klasse sealant glaze to the car today, after ONR-ing it, nothing visiting an old friend!!
 
You can go to Autopia (AG sister site) and discuss any product.

Zaino has the best clay period end of sentence ;)

The detail spray and shampoo is sweet too. Never used anything else really.

zanio seems to be a corvette thing .I own a corvette a c4 which is the red headed step child of corvettes lol.I use to use zanio but sal will not ship to nj.I have found other products because of this forum that are as good as zanio if not better

Zaino is a Corvette thing because, last I heard, the Corvette engineers worked with Zaino directly to formulate a clearcoat that is designed to work and bond with Zaino products.

I just wanted to chime in, Before I found AG, I bought the whole line of zainos, while they are very good products and work well, I Have found that alot of products AG handles work just as good if not better and are alot easier to use IMO and more wallet friendly :). Optimum, ultima, blackfire, chemical guys are among my favorites that AG handles, I think alot of other people would agree as well

I totally agree .sal is a great guy .I see him at a car show at chick fl a in howell nj .HE donates stuff for door prizes.
