Well, since no one else started a RIP thread I'll do it.

I can't believe that Robin Williams killed himself (unless it was one of those David Carradine things). I figured it was his heart problems catching up with him, but no. You just never know. Maybe the funniest guy ever.

Very sad that he passed away. I have not read the conclusions of the autopsy but it's not uncommon for actors to go that way. Hopefully it's something else.

Great memories of several movies he made. Really someone special.

"Be kind to everyone you meet because you never know what battles people are fighting"

I've had my own battles I have had to face, a lot of us have. I just hope no one throws in a negative on this thread. Personally, I just don't think its the place for it. Just my opinion. If you want to show your respects, feel free. If not, move on to the next thread.

This is sad to me because I grew up watching a lot of stuff he was in and the work he did, while I didn't know him personally, I feel like I knew him..I am sure most understand what I mean here.

My main point here relates to my first line, while I am guilty of not thinking of this daily I honestly try my best to.

That being said, I hope everyone has a great day when you wake or for those across the pond, I hope your day is going well!

Yes he's a great actor. So sad to hear.

Its tragic. The man dedicated his life to making other people happy and laugh, and he couldn't find happiness for himself. So very unfortunate. No doubt he will be missed.

Rest in peace Robin,

May God help your family get strength at this difficult time.

the man was very talented for sure. I'll miss him RIP

he always had a smile on his face and would go out of his way to make people laugh.. it seems like you could kind of tell in some pictures he had a smile now cry later feeling inside. so sad it had to come to this.. ~ RIP Robin Williams ~

Really a shocker.

He was one VERY funny and talented man.

RIP

Bill

Truly a sad day. My heart goes out to his children and family. I like many grew up watching him, weather it was an HBO stand up special, staring in a movie or doing a voice such as Genie in Aladdin. He always made me laugh.

Even though I personally never met him, I had friends that have. One in particular at the Mohegan Sun casino. He said he was the nicest person backstage and had a smile on his face. RIP Mr. Williams!

"Nanoo Nanoo"
anybody old enough to remember that? Seems just like a short time ago.
RIP

I would ve never tought of this , he was 63 yo or so . Heard about it in car radio yesterday .

An immense talent. Very few actors have ever had his versatility. I never felt the emotional or physical pain that would lead a person to this end with no other alternative left, but I know it exists. Just goes to show that fame and fortune are not a panacea for happiness.
