Let me start off by saying that this cab had been detailed by myself about a year ago. Upon arrival it was way worse then I had expected. After I gave it some thought it made sense, a car with an extremely fragile clearcoat ( Jap cars in general ), that is made to go offroad isn't the best of idea's

Let's have a look at few pics of when it arrived

I started off by washing the wheels and wheel wells using multiple steps and products ( no pics of that, sorry  ). Although they would later on look something like this

I then got onto washing the vehicle. Car was foamed up with Chemical Guys and washed with Sonax Shampoo ( I happen to LOVE this product )

After a wash the true condition of the paint had been revealed

The paint had been decontaminated prior to polishing taking place. After test spots I decided on Menz SF4000 on a orange ( cutting/polishing ) pad.

All of these were taken after a correction only. The owner asked me to use a glaze on the vehicle to fill the remaining imperfections up ( agreed upon before the detail ). Glaze used was Prima Amigo. Epic product, goes on and off EXTREMELY easy and hides a few remaining rids nicely. Only downside that I found was that it offered 0 protection  I left the car for around 2 hours for the glaze to cure before I applied Menz PL ontop of the glaze. The 'afters' looked something like this

Thanx for looking. Comments welcome

Nice work. I did my black Impala about a month ago using Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover. I was able to get rid of a bunch of defects, but I think I can do better. I am going to order some Menz SF4000 after seeing some of the results people have shown on this site. What brand of orange pad did you use? I have Lake Country CCS pads now, but may grab a hanful of hybrid pads and give them a try as well.

SF4000 is an extremely light Polish, perfect for a soft clearcoat OR to finish off with after heavy compounding had been done. Sorry I use Cyclo's dual head Polisher so my pads are totally different I believe

Nicely done my friend :dblthumb2:

:dblthumb2: Thanx buddy

Great work bud! :xyxthumbs:
