Official Meguiar's Crew - Fanatics and Chat Thread

Count me in Marc - I think you already know I'm a huge Meguiars fan!

It accounts for about 90% of my arsenal...

My neighbors always see my car clean year round and i guess this winter was the breaking point for one, she told me that i make the neighborhoods cars look bad with a super clean car lol

Would have to be Ultimate Polish & Ultimate Compound. Im not very fond of their Gold Class line products. Its all Mirror Glaze Pro or the Ultimate line for me.

Except the Gold Class soap, right buddy? :D

What I wanna' know is why in the world doesn't Meguiar's have a WOWA sealant?!?!?! (With advanced 'merican polymers!)

Since this is a meguiars thread, I thought I would show an off label use of m100. This is on a polishing pad on the rupes as a one step to remove car wash damage

Whats that Mr. Clean's AutoDry Car Wash doing on the second top shelf O_o ? LoL I bought one when I was a noob in 2006 :D. I see you have some nice M16 tubs! Good stuff :)

The Mr. Clean thingy was a gift from the grandkids. LOL.

I really like M16. It holds up as well as most new sealants. Great beading too. I bought a bunch when it was being discontinued. :xyxthumbs:

So they wont run out during a session.

Meguiar's D110 Hyper Wash has become one of my favorite car wash shampoos.

(To paraphrase its product description)...In one fell swoop it offers:

-A highly economical dilution rate and thus excellent value for the money:
~640 gals. of RTU from a 1 gal. jug of concentrate

-Excellent performance in terms of balancing outright cleaning strength, with the need to preserve LSP's

-A fully biodegradable formula that is environmentally-friendly

In a word: Brilliant!!!

-And for those of us burdened with FFD (Foam Fascination Disorder)...
This is just what the "psych-doc" ordered.

As such...
I love: 'washing my vehicles' more now...than ever! (as depicted below).

NOTE:
Now that most of the headshops in my area of Ohio has now experienced the fate of being boarded-up...
there appears to be a "run" on car-wash shampoos/pre-soaks/snow-foams that are as sweeeet as D110.

-Now even though my "Doctor" advised me not to smell it "too close"...[Coconut(YEAH!) Diethanolamide]...
I must ask:
Would it seem to be a little strange/odd if I sprinkled some of it on the living room carpet every now and then?

I've been seeing you post in the same year when MOL was created. Your MR2 is one of the shiniest cars I've seen and that says a lot given its age. That's a testament to how well Meguiar's products work.

Please post pics of your MR2 here!!! Shine courtesy of Meguiar's!!!

Close, but Meguiar's was around for some 42 years before I was born. LOL

TY for the props.

I love posting photos of my 22 YO MR2. This MR2 was raised on a steady diet of Meguiar's. Now 128k on the ODO but it still looks and drives like new.

Nice ride bro!
Geesh... you were born in 1943? (And I thought I was old.... )

Yup, the MR2 was ahead of it's time. So was the Fiero actually. Too bad it was woefully underpowered (except for the turbo V6). Well that... and they seemed to burst into flames for no reason. (Wiring harness short behind the headlight, LF fender above the wheel.)

You know they were actually the first car ever introduced that had an established after market parts source, racing and performance parts all setup BEFORE the car ever hit the public. Remember a big article about the 'jig' that they designed to weld, drill and tap the frame in 39 places to accept the entire body. It was a 3 story machine that the frame moved through.

They also petitioned the IIHS for cheaper insurance due to the fact that all the body panels except the roof, front windshield & rear windshield were user replaceable. Body panels could be ordered in the final color and bolted on in a matter of minutes by anyone that knew how to use a wrench.

But I digress......

What was it that is my favorite Meguiar's product?
OHHHHH, it starts with "M" that's it........ :buffing:
